A two-time Grand Slam singles champion, Richey claimed the Australian Open in 1967 and the French Open in 1968, and was a key contributor to the U.S. Fed Cup team.


She was ranked in the world’s top 10 for several years and became one of the few women to win over 60 singles titles, solidifying her legacy as a pioneer in women’s tennis.
